WOMEN'S COLLECTION
The women's collection for the S/S 2012 season revolves around three main themes: Nautical, identified by white, blue and ivory; City, favouring very luminous tones of anthracite, beige and ivory; Colour, where garments are distinguished by brilliant shades of geranium, yellow, rose, azure and sage-green.
Nylon and Cotton/Nylon are the predominant fabrics, along with natural materials such as Linen and Cotton.
The collection is more markedly feminine - particularly with regard to the garments' volume, form and details, such as the neckline and length - and owing also to the great comeback of shirts and dresses.
MENSWEAR
The North Sails menswear collection for spring summer 2012 seeks to reclaim the "technicality" of the sailing world from which the brand hails. Hence the development of a more technical product, in terms of materials, design, functionality and graphics, which is also reflected in the labelling. A series of elements that adapt to jackets, knitwear and swimwear, branded with a characteristic transferred stamp.
Colour choices tend towards the light and the bright: white with touches of royal blue, sea blue, military green, and distinctive details in acid yellow.
